What was the black holocaust? If you're referring to Rwanda, then you have to consider the fact that African nations are governed rather badly. Most African nations are run by tribal war lords or people that are beholden to the war lords. Governments are run according to ancient tribal traditions. Not totally in accordance to who was elected. There are some countries in Africa that seem to be 'getting it.' These are some of the reasons why the US would rather stay out of warring nations in Africa as opposed to getting involved. Somalia was a disaster for the US.

ANY Holocaust is shame on humanity, no matter whom, when, where or how- Inside or ouside this country I live in. let me explain:
The Black Holocaust- Perhaps the asker here is referring to these things, In America, maybe not- it really makes no difference.....before captivity in Africa, The Middle Passage, Slavery in the Americas, Reconstruction, Civil Rights and Modern Day Injustices (hangings...) this list is long and ugly.
****(Maybe that will help answer the question below me)
Have we forgotten about the Native American's? There have been many in history- and on going as we type today a few that come to mind are: Soviet gulags, and in China's 20th century purges. In the recent genocides in Armenia, Bosnia, Cambodia, Guatemala, Namibia, and the Ukraine. What is history going to tell us about Irag- Bagdad is still burning-Rwanda, slaughter was Massive-and the internet, just catching on in the USA. We have a holocaust going on @ this time in Darfur.
My answer is Neither and ALL are the "worst". Although I understand that a "capitol H" for the word Holocaust is one of debate for some. Understand? That many humans of Jewish heritage think of all these as holocaust- but only one to be the "H"olocaust.
This subject matter is one I will never understand. The cruelity and deaths that so many have suffered and most have been @ the hand of the white man, although not all, must be added
My answer remains- All are "Worst"- WHY?- Shame on Humanity- SHAME

both the jewish holocaust and black slavery are horrible events in history that will always be heartbreaking. both are heart wrenching but i would say that between the 2 events, i would say the holocaust is more tragic only because millions and millions of jews were slautered and starved to death including children. like i said, just because i think the jewish holocaust is more tragic, it doesnt mean that slavery wasnt tragic.

If you've seen one holocaust you've seen 'em all but in terms of numbers you have to give the edge to the Jewish purge in Europe in WWII. All genocides are reprehensible and it is a sad, sad commentary on the human condition.

Both were horrible. 11 million during the WWII Holocaust and if you are referring to the Rwanda genocide, that killed over 1 million people.

They are both terrible and should never have happened. But I do not think it is fair to try and see which is worse.
