Strategy is this:
Grab 2 RBs early. Then pick the next best WR or QB in the 3rd round. Pick another fringe RB. Have a few sleeper picks for RBs in the later rounds.
TE's - If Antonio Gates, Tony Gonzales & Jeremy Shockey (maybe Todd Heap too) are gone, wait until the last 3 rounds to select a TE.
DO NOT SPEND AN EARLY PICK ON ANY DEFENSE or KICKER!!! It never pays dividends equal to an offensive player early in a draft. Pick a defense & kicker in the 2 final rounds.
Handcuffing - If you have an injury prone star at RB (i.e. - Deuce McAllister), you need to also select their backup later in the draft to protect yourself.
See an overwhelming theme here? RBs are IMPORTANT! They make or break your FF season.

It all matters where you pick. If you are at the top of the order pick a rb or manning if you are at the bottom try and get two wrs in a row unless someone falls in your lap. Do not draft a def early unless it is Chicago and do not draft a te early unless it is Gates. Do not draft a kicker early no matter what. Try and get as many top tier players as possible. If the next eight available wrs are all close in talent and there are only two available qbs are close in talent then go qb. Talent drops off significantly after pick 25 this year so you want to have a top five pick unless you are drafting with amateur players who let talent drop.

I have learned that a good QB and a strong Defense can make a good team. After that, I'd say a couple good RBs will be helpful. Focus on QB first because there are few excellent ones to choose from.

What I do is pick aRB first, you should do this becuase you get lots of points on rbs, especially with a good back like LT from san diego, what also helps is a very good defense like the bears but dont pick a defense too early, but they do pay off

Pick 2 RBs, then 2 WRs, another RB, then QB, and then another WR. From then on it's your choice.
