For those of you answering "YES", would you like to see Bush hurt politically, if it also meant hurting the U.S.?

For instance, the more U.S. deaths in Iraq, the more Bush suffers at the polls. This also causes great pain for the country. Is that an acceptable situation, just to give Bush political damage?

Bush isn't hurting the country, Carter started the pain.

Isn't it funny that the ONLY thing people seem to be ablke to talk about when discussing the President is this war? And actually, most people who are screaming at the top of their lungs about it do not have all of the facts, and are giving knee-jerk reactions that they see from everyone else on TV and in their schools. It is much easier that way thanto do the research themselves, I would guess.
Actually, the Democrats and Libedrals have nothing to scream about EXCEPT the war. The economy has grown immensesly since he took office the first time; housing starts are up; housing sales are up; small business ownership is up; minority business ownership is up; unemployment is down; minority unemployment is down; disposable cash is up across the board; the CPI is up; consumer confidence is up...
And all anyone who wants to shout at the rain can say is that we are fighting a war.
President Kennedy got us involved in the Vietnam conflict, and no one said thing one... they dropped it on the next fella. President Clinton cut our military back to the smallest it had been since WWII, and then did more with them- as far as combat ops- than the previous TWO administrations combined, yet not one of you liberal Democrats complained. All you could talk about was how the economy was so good. When he got caught with his pants down (literally) everyone of you complained that it was a Republican witch hunt and that it was his own business if he lied to a grand jury.
Well, guess what.
You're screaming at the rain, and all that's going to happen is you are going to strengthen the Terrorists resolve to do more to get you screaminig and hating your own country... because that is the only way they can win this war.

I don't hate President Bush. He is a little pitiful actually.
He is so dependent on Karl Rove and Cheney.

I do love my Country and I cherish every soilder that thougt their death was to save our freedom.

I feel sorry for every leader that caused the deaths of so many soldiers and people.

Hate is a very negative word. You are asking the public to put their emotions of Love and Hate in the balance. Many people love their country but don't accept how it is being governed. They can participate but are their voices really heard?

Thinking about it. yes. but you have to remember that Bush is actually a lackluster figurehead and not at all the mastermind behind all the atrocities that have been perpetrated during this administration.

Remember it was Bush who said that when we are talking about war, we're really talking about peace. So how clear can his thinking be?

I love my country. The only feeling I have stronger than the love of my country is the love for my family and my fiance. My hatred for Bush is high, but not as high as my love for my country. I would not die to hate Bush, but I would die for my family and my country.

No I do not hate the President. At least he has brought back honor and decency to the title, he is not sleeping with the intern and everything else that wears a skirt.

Unfortunately, I think some people do...I support the President, and I wish people could look beyond blind hatred and see that the country needs unity.
