My husband is a non drinker and is very healthy. I've never have an odor problem until after he ejaculates. Even if I shower and wash throughly it still smells for a day or two. I am trying to get pregnant and was also wondering about using douche. WIll it wash away all of the sperm?

It's probably the douche that's causing the smell!! It certainly *isn't* the sperm...they're microscopic cells, and they are gone long before "a few days" after sex. If this isn't it, then talk to your doctor; you may have an infection.

Whatever you do don't douche. It only throws off your natural ph balance. Continue bathing as usual, drink plenty of water, eat healthy foods...usually what goes on down below reflects what is in our diet. Make sure your husband does the same. Go to the doctor if things don't improve. There maybe something else going on.

Do not douche. If you notice a bad smell after intercourse you should tell your OB/GYN as this may be a sign of infection

Douching might actually push the sperm into the cervix.

If he happens to be a beer drinker, that may be your answer. The sperm of meat eaters and non-drinkers smells better. Go figure, hunh?

1. Tell him to alter his diet. Tell him not to eat sour things
2. You should eat more Yogurt.
3. He could possibly have bacteria on his privates before you both have intercourse. Have him "freshen up" before you have sex.

Yeast is too high in his and your systems. He probably drinks beer? Yah. Thought so. Yogurt, lots of it. And douche with Kamboucha tea. And drink it. Also, substitute plain yogurt for sour cream on his baked potatoes when he's not looking, which will lower the yeast level in his system.

Your welcome.
