My favorite next generation episode? Man, there are quite a few I really liked. "Best of Both Worlds" really had me on the edge of my seat for an entire summer, "Measure of a Man" was really good and so was it's sequel, "Offspring". Q was always a fun character, but I especially liked the more serious episode "Tapestry" when he let Picard reconsider the choices he made in life. But if I had to pick one favorite, it would have to be "Yesterday's Enterprise." It was a cool concept and a neat episode, and I was always partial to space battles. Too bad the whole Denise Crosby as a Romulan in later seasons was kind of dumb.

My least favorite? Phew, there were quite a few sucky episodes too. Again, if I had to pick one, the 2nd season finale, "Shades of Grey" was lame because it was during the writers strike and the best think the producers could come up with was a "clip" episode with flashbacks from the first 2 seasons. WEAK!

Good question. I haven't watched any TNG in a while now and you made me want to crack out the old VHS copies I have.

My most favorite I think is one called "Inner Light" where Picard is scanned by a probe and lives an entire lifetime on another planet and experiences another culture that was destroyed. I also love Time's Arrow pt. 1 and pt. 2 where they find Data's head in a cave on earth.

It's hard to remember least favorite episodes. I'm sure if I were to flip through an episode guide I could remember a few that I wouldn't bother rewatching...but offhand I can't think of any that stand out.

there was an episode where picard played his flute in a secluded area of the ship with great acoustics. he took a woman who joined him in making music. i don't even remember what the rest of the epidose was about but the music they made touched me. they were bonded in an unspoken way that made me wish i had taken up an instrument. i love any of the episodes where you got to really see the personalities of the crew.
my least fave has to be the one where wesley is being a petulant teenager and rebelling against.....everything. he joins the side of a native american tribe who were fighting for their lands. i just didn't like wesley at that stage. he was so smart and sweet, and he still had to go through that ugly teen stage the rest of us normals have to suffer through.

Favorite: The one where they all go back in time to stop those aliens from sucking the life out of the 19th century humans.

Least: The one where Yar dies. Not that I liked her so much...just she died in such a random and senseless way.

The best has got to be the one where Picard draws the happy face in the warp cloud exhaust thingy and laughs manically.
