Not everyone is like that though alot of people are there are still decent people out there that really care about others and who the person is on the inside.

Because your outer appearance is the first thing that people notice. Not all people are like that, some do look beyond your appearance. I can't tell you how many people told me that when they first met me, they thought I was conceited, unfriendly, stuck up etc... After getting to know me, they couldn't believe how wrong they were about me. Never judge a book by it's cover.

Your appearance is the first thing they see; some people are just too quick to judge and cannot make it past appearances....they lose out on a lot because of it too. Just takes to much effort to wait and see how someone acts as well, I suppose....

Well, we do have the saying that goes "first impression always last", right? Hence, normally we get to be judged first at how they saw us as compared to how we are within. Give it time. What they think of you will change depending on the amount of time you spend with them. :)

This is a vain society. "We" care more about outward appearance then inside demeaner. We care more about what others think of us by judging others on a superficial basis. If we would care more about ourselves and the good we can do, we would look more inside than outside.
Shame on us for doing it and allowing our neighbor to do it as well. The outside of a person does NOT always equal the inside.

It is all they have to go on before getting to know you, prove to them how great you are inside then they will drop their perconcieved ideas and realize the real you is wonderful. : )
