I don't know if I can help as I'm not totally sure of the exact meaning of your question. "Magical Realism" is one style of writing, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, that's it I'm afraid.

just...different STYLES... who is your favorite author?...why?...why not, someone else?? ... if u had ur fav author write ur fav story, vs. ...lets say, ur high school english teacher, would it be the same?! why not?...cuz its 2 differnt styles of writing. they are SET styles, like "this is style A:....." it just means... differnt ppl write differently
