With D & C surgery, there is blood loss, so a diet with a little extra iron will help her to avoid anemia. Be careful with iron supplements, her doc should have had blood tests done to check her blood iron levels. Too much iron can cause constipation.

I would keep her on a light diet and lots of fluids..rest is the most important thing to think about..If she is feeling good then advance her diet to what she wants..any questions or concerns see or call her doctor.

Lots of fluids, water is best. Vitamins and iron are a must as well. Good luck, and I hope everything goes well.

lots of iron. if it has it.........eat it. thats what the docs told me when i had to have one. i even took iron pills
