I also love horses and have owned a few over the years most thouroughbreds as I use to race them. But the horses I have always had a love affair with are the Arabs for they are among the most graceful and hardy of all the breeds and they have a fire unequalled in most breeds.Arabs bring up images of wild stallions and i love the wild horse image of old. My favourite books now and as a child where the australian based novels in the Silver Brumby series.

I own a morgan cross who, in my opinion, is the next big one in dressage (she's 4, I've put a week of riding into her this summer, and she is halfpassing, doing shoulder-ins and travers like a pro) I also own a 2 y/o Thoroughbred gelding who is bred to run with secretariat on both sides (And I only paid $165 for him)
I also show American Quarter Horses on the open and hunter cicuits.

If I had to own a different breed, it'd be a gelding by a hanoverian, and out of dutch warmblood/morgan cross.
I'd also like to own a gelding named Senor Prado. He's a 9 y/o TB who last raced at Assineboi Downs (sp?) I saw him for the first time 4 or 5 yrs ago at Hoosier Park and fell in love with him.

I've had horses since I was 8 years old, mostly Quarter horses. But when I left home (about 20 years ago) I've had a few different breeds and I have found something unique about each one. I would love to get a Freisian! (don't think I spelled that right)

We have a tri color paint horse--mostly white and a breeding stock paint--bay and white. The bay is a gelding and the paint is a mare. We love both of them! They are such a wonderful breed. Very loveable and gentle.

I also want a Friesen. They are so beautiful and graceful. They are also very gentle, if trained correctly.

I love horses!!!! the first horse i rode was a quarter horse, named taffy. i like quargter horses but most of the ones ive seen are just trail horses who dont do much, and dont care whats going on. i like a little more life in my horses. I own one horse right now. his name is harley and he is a saddlebred mix... with a bunch of stuff probably, and he is very pretty. i rode him for the first time 4 days ago and he was wonderful!!!!! he will be 3 in august and next summer maybe we'll be in shows. still gotta figure out exactly what we will be able to do best together....

if i could have any kind of horse, i would choose andalusian or a paso fino. andalusians make me think of fabio with their long hair and big thick necks. i have never ridden one, but they are soooo beautiful. Paso Finos have beautiful gaits but are kind of like the lirrle beauties to me. :)

i think horses are beautiful animals and if i had the land, i would want one. not sure what breed, but i did ride on a cart pulled by ponies, suzy and star, when i was little. my dad had a horse a long time ago and it got spooked when he was riding her and knocked him off. i think horses are majestic, but they can be dangerous as well.

We have anglo-arabs and a percheron. We would love to breed the perch mare to a Vanner or T-Bred sometime.

We have Rocky Mountain horses, and they are by far the sweetest, easiest going horses I have ever had.
