You can look in your local phone book's yellow pages under Landscaping or Landscape Contractors. You could also try online yellowpages.com. Another option is to try one of the contractor locator services, like EveryContractor.com or ServiceMagic.com

Try calling first thing in the morning. I mean like 6:30am to 7:00am. Most contractors are in the field most of the day, with an office in their home, and you have a better chance of catching someone if you call very early.

I run the office for a landscape contractor in northern California, and I get a LOT of people who are surprised when a live person answers the phone because they're going down the phone book and get answering machine after answering machine. And, unfortunately, many contractors are so busy this time of year that they don't return many calls. We do, and I've been told how unusual that is.

Good luck.

A reverse cell phone lookup service I have used is http://reversephone.toptips.org

Enter the number in the system and they will tell you a lot of informations about the phone number and the person who owns it.
If they have extra details you will have to pay for the report.
Free reverse phone lookup sites generally don't provide anything interesting. To get further information, money will have to be paid. The free searches do not provide much more than what can be found through the phone book.
The best thing is that you can get informations about anyone!!
