why do bad things happen to good people? it would seem only just for things to happen in accordance with peoples actions, yet it doesent seem that way

Into each life some rain must fall, and it sure does! Everyone gets their share of hard times, whether they are good or bad. The longer you live, the more the odds are it will happen to you too. Your life is effected by what happens to you, what happens to others around you, a bad decision, an illness, death, eventually--you can't escape it. That's why people have faith there is more after life. You just have to be good to get there and repent for the times you were bad. Live your life and do the best you can. Use the golden rule, treat others as you would want to be treated. What is the definition of bad anyway? What may seem bad to one person may be nothing to another. I guess that's why we have the ten commandments. Stay under that level of bad--it's still hard to do. You could be super good and still be struck by lightening. You only have one life, just live it! Life is a present, so open your gift!

I dont agree with you. What do you mean by "Hard Lives"? If it is associated with money or peace. I think good people always have good lives, that may not be visible, but it is true. If some bad people is cheating somebody, always he thinks that I have done a bad thing and when some good people do something good, they think that they have done some good. Regarding this matter I want to state one story -
There were two friends, one is good and another is bad. One day the bad one said to the other,"lets move to the Prostitute's home and we shall enjoy", the good one knew that it was bad, he disagreed and went to the charch. During his prayer in the charch, he thought, "oh my life is so bad, I am praying here infront of a Statue and my friend is enjoying life with a hot chick". Similarly, the bad guy thought," oh, I am doing the wrong thing, better I would think of god", and he started thinking of God. Do you know what happens in the end? The BAD guy went to the HEAVEN and the GOOD one went to HELL.
So, I believe there is always some good reward for good jobs.

Hard is the opposite of behaved not easy.
Some folks will not allow themselves to go easy and untrue, which are unimportant yet carrying of consequence and respect beyond imagination. Men and women are honored with no further notice to little dwellers and petty carriers.
Good men do like effort, hard work and respect, thus we get into difficulties for ourselves not females, and after raising the goodies we are good no more than bad still. It is seen those wonderful creatures do get respect they like and love they deserve, while at same time pain and blindness is happening yet they are already living two lifes, one separated phisically and another with some peace of mind in an alloted loka house. Those sure are pretty.
Many like to secure independence from dellusions and sure have passion and energy enough to carry to brundisium and beyond.
This is the life, are we ready to live?

In simple terms, it is because they are carrying the bad karma from previous lives. Our "soul" is reincarnated again and again to face similar dilemmas, and will continue to do so until the challenge is met. If we lead harmful lives, the bad karma is carried over.
The universe is a balance of all things, including good and bad karma. Bad karma cannot simply disappear any more so than energy. It can neither be created nor destroyed. Rather , our actions accrue karma as our actions dictate, and it remains with the life force after the vessel has perished.
Nothing else makes any sense to me, unless the universe is truely random, which I doubt sincerely.

Because The Almighty tests everyone in their faith whether they stand firm on their virtues or give in to sin.LIfe is an examination and the level of the exam is high for good students(good people) & low for bad students(bad people).

When u were born god laid a plan for u a map to say but see its bland and white God and Karma draw it out for u if u do good things God WILL reward u if u did or do bad things karma will haunt u forever so to say u probably did something bad and have prayed for forgiveness.

bad things bring people together, and sometimes makes the good and bad people together. In life, the worst your life is in the beginning the more potential you have ultimatley

Because they are good and the bad peole don"t like them bcoz they know good are the better
