Should be able to do it immediately. You may have very slight loss the first year due to any insect damage that you used spray for before but if you take the bugs that would have gotten the plants, put them through a blender with a bit of water, strain them after leaving for overnight, and then spraying that on the plants, the insects will leave it alone.
