I think both the sentences are wrong... because lets say if u were asking this question to Inaaz... who was born 5ft nothing and is still 5ft nothing!!!! then dont u think both the questions are wrong????

depending on where your from its said in different ways.. In the south, big cities like Miami its common to hear someone say something like that. I'm from miami and it sometimes slips...

You is a plural pronoun. The 2nd is correct.

"Were" is a form of the word "was". You change "was" to "were" when you're referring to the person that you're speaking to.

You use "was" when you're referring to yourself (the speaker) or a third person (not being spoken to).
