Personally I wouldn't....
But you wont know why he is trying to impress you with lies until you ask him yourself.
Tell him that you know that he isn't telling the whole truth and maybe he will give you some insight as to why....

Nope. I have a girlfriend who does that already, so I'm glad we're gonna be two states apart starting september. I couldn't stand to deal with a guy who does that too T_T
