Once when I was a teenager, my friend dared me to fart on this big spider crawling across the floor. So I bent down and farted on it, point blank. The sucker curled up and died right there on the spot. I figured he was just playing possum. But nope, the next day he was still there, just like he was when I farted on him. For the record....I felt kind of bad about it. I like spiders.

As a true scientist, you should repeat the experiment to ascertain the repeatability and predictability of the results and get some peers to conduct similar experiments to verify your findings.

Instead of using just one spider, use a few and the one with the most powerful delivery can get in the Guinness Book of records.

You can further expand your research to cover cockroaches, ants and other pest and make a name for yourself.

LOL
Yea , yea, yea...
That was very funny.
I wonder what did you have for a meal to cause such a gas attack.

I wonder what did this poor spider see before it gave up its ghost - perhaps a huge 'mother ship' bearing down on him and then a thunderous discharge. It must have been horrible.

Sorry bud, but I have to report to arachnid protection society.
Remember anything you said will be held against you in the court of law. Boy are you in trouble now.

Actually I think it was caused by the supersonic shock-wave. I wonder if any one in the neighborhood complained of a sonic boom?

After such a gastrointestinal experience probably anyone would feel "kind of bad ".

When you fart you are releasing methane gas. The spider is a very small creature. You deprived it of oxygen when you farted on directly on it. There is an old story of a mine worker who ate beans and cabbage for dinner, then he slept in a small room with no window and the door was closed. He was dead by morning.

that seems unlikely but if the smell of the gas was that strong, then there is a possibility that you may have caused the death of a spider. Redicioulous yes, but anythings possible.

I've heard rumors that if you sleep under your covers and fart a lot you can die. Maybe the sulfur emitted is the reason.

you probably just cut off his oxygen supply lol, poor thing

it's just like if you inhale helium at a birthday party, your vocal cords shrink up and make your voice high pitched, BUT if you aren't careful, you may not get as much oxygen as you need and start convulsing from lack of oxygen.

Too much concentrated methane gas. You find it in sewers usually. That is fart stuff.
