I am adding a water filter system for clean water.

I need to know where can I purchase the drill bit?

Any of the larger home improvement stores should have people there that could help you. I would purchase two drill bits. First a porcelain bit to get you through the coating, then once you are down to the steel switch to a high speed or a cobalt bit. hope this helps.

I would tell you to use a hole saw drill bit. The only thing that would concern me, would be what the surrounding porcelain finish will do. You can find these hole saw drill bits at Home Depot, get the Milwaukee brand, their great. My spelling might be off. Good luck with that.

use a good hole saw (as already suggested)
seeing as the porcelain is only a coating you will have no problem breaking through it with the hole saw
chipping the porcelain may be a problem so take your time as your cutting into it

go to lowes or home depot to the ceramic tile tools section and there are bits there designed to go through ceramics and porcelains. a good mason bit will go through it and the also offer an abrassive hole saw for pipes
