I think having a lake/ocean party is fun. Thats what my friend did for his sweet 16. He got a friend of his to get a good band to play, we pretty much partied until we passed out lol.

Girls (and boys, too) are getting too spoiled these days, expecting lavish affairs at a hotel, expensive gifts (Cars?!). Time to return to the basics, the simple things. Just throw a small party at home. Period.
