yes it helps because when you sweat the dirtyness and nasty oils in your face come out because your poors get bigger when your hot. thats why when you get a facial they put hot steam by your face before they start. and same goes if your in one of those hot sana rooms your bodys icky stuff sweats out

and as for those people who say they break out after they sweat its most likely because they do not wash their face immediatly after sweating. other wise if you dont the oils and dirt just settle back on your face when you cool off causing more crap to irritate your acne. same goes for your back....sweat then take a shower! and you should be fine

It is very good to sweat because the bad chemicals from inside your body is letting out through your sweat fluids. How does it help with acne? Well, acne is caused by clogged pores. When you sweat, the pores are washed out. Of course, you will have to wash up your body after sweating or else the acne will spread.

Acne and sweat are two distinctly different things although they may have some correlation.

Acne is caused by bacteria and oil - oil secreted by oil glands, not sweat glands.

Reducing acne can be done by removing bacteria and oil, antibiotics to kill existing infections, and other medical solutions. Even then, lots of it is just hormonal and genetic.

Some skin reacts adversely to a lot of sweat - others reacts favorably. At the end of the day, everyone is different.

hmm..that's a good question- i'm very active in sports, so i sweat alottt during games and practices- and i dont have much acne.

but my friend always tells me her sweat causes her acne. and experts say "back-ne" is because of sweat that has no air or whatever.

Yes, it pushes the dirt and oils out of your pores. Just make sure to clean your face really well afterwards to stop it all from going back into your pores. Get a face scrub lotion (or you can use sugar actually) and wash really well with water afterwards.

i guess sweating can wash away the oilyness of your skin so that the acne can be prevented. dont put all your trust in me for this, its just an educated guess.

sometimes. and sometimes it clogs your pores and that of which causes zits. But that can be taken care of with a simple face scrub. but don't get the kind with the scratchy Minni beads in it, I hear what it really is doing to your skin is ripping it up from the sand paper in a bottle which they say is suppose to be helping you.
