They don't work on me. I prefer people to be themselves and not use some cheesy pickup lines.

Personally, I think that a pick-up line could make a good conversation starter. For me, pick-up lines usually make me laugh. And if a guy can make me laugh then that is starter - so I may strike up a conversation with him.

I don't really think pick up lines work. Sometimes, sure but generally I don't think women are that shallow.
The best thing to say to a girl if you want to get to know them is:
Hi, my name is *insert name here*...

i hate idiots with pickup lines....i have an idea.....walk up to the girl and say, "Hi my name is (insert your name here)."
GEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ !!!!!
oh and anytime an idiot with a pickup line come up to me (no matter how good looking he is, it is THAT much of a turn off), i say..."Nice approach, lets see your departure!"

some do....it depends on the cuteness factor and how drunk i may b....but i dont know some are really stupid....but i cant think of any i fell for at the moment
