like if i wanted to block my mom number from my cell how can i do that/

I don't think there is a way yet. You should always take your mother's call!!

I know with a cell phone that you need to contact your service provider. With Cingular, we just call customer service and they will direct you to the right department. If you give them the number, they will make it so that if that person tries to call you, they won't be able to get through. Some companies charge a one-time fee for this of like $10, so be prepared to see that on your bill.
I don't think that it is possible to block a number from your landline phone, so I hope the phone you are talking about is a mobile phone. Are you really sure you want to block your mother though?!? I could see family holidays being really awkward for you from now on if you do that!!! :o)

send the number n group them if your using series 60 symbian phone there should be a catagories where u can ignored the number u wish to ... go to your contact n group them u should be able to ...have a nice day!

By calling your phone comp. and letting thhem know that you dont want this number calling you anymore.
