Each one has its pros and cons...
Yahoo! is really handy, and currently, the Yahoo! Mail Beta is really good. I personally like it more than the Windows Live! Mail. On the other hand, Yahoo! has a major problem when you are subscribed on any Yahoo! Groups. You tend to get a lot of false emails that are not really sent by their senders containing viruses.Although the virus scanner does stop them, but some of them may come under porn subjects!!
As for MSN Mail, it the advantage of Windows Live! Mail currently being 2GB [twice Yahoo!], but of a worse interface.
Also, MSN Mail has the advantage of being HTTP Mail enabled, which means that you can simply configure Outlook or IncrediMail to download all your emails from their server and view them as Offline Messages, just as if its a POP mail. The difference is that it dowsn't really download them as much as it synchronizes with the server. It really only downloads the email header and when you click on it, the file is downloaded for viewing. You can choose to download all emails though. But still, will synchronize with the server. This means that if you delete an email from your MSN Account on Outlook, it will be deleted from your web MSN Account...
So, really each has its pros and cons. Its just like using which messenger, the MSN or the Yahoo! Messenger?
Although the new releases of both messengers have support to adding the other messengers users [Yahoo users can add MSN users, and vice versa]....the service is still not active - as far as I have noticed anyway. So, here the decision really comes to the user. Which one has all [well, at least most, as all is really hard] the features that fullfill your needs...
Hope this answers your question...

Gmail is better than either of those. TONS of space to store your messages...
