Other very educated countries have to be laughing out loud- A LOT- at SOME of the insignificant, ridiculous waste of time type questions on here. I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE SINCERE QUESTIONS!!
But, No wonder many of those counties think we're idiots. With SOME of the useless questions that are a waste of time- and the ones who ask them usually can't spell worth a darn either! Can you blame them? So, I don't blame other countries for thinking poorly of many Americans...again, NOT ALL, just some of us must appear to be illiterate, shallow and totally mindless.

Maybe every country is like that.
A couple days ago I compared the US and Canada sites and the content is exactly the same, yes. Every nation piles on to the same Answers site.

don't think they really care- alot of the people on here ARE idiots, but Yahoo answers does nto make the United States of America a country of illerate, shallow, totally mindless Idiots! You are not highly intelligent if you cannot see the difference.

I am living in Denmark and love it here but i am all so an American citizen and yes i find some people very silly (nice way of putting it) I do understand that some cant spell very well, but that dosent put me off, because I'm in no way very good at it myself,but to ask questions with short versions of words is just insulting to anyone that reads .And i don't think that its just other country's outside the US its the US citizen all so ...

While certainly some nationals from other countries may laugh (and clearly, some of these questions are unintentionally hilarious), I guarantee you every village has its idiot. We have no corner or monopoly on the illiterate, shallow and totally mindless.
