For Oak tress and other trees, can this be done? I think of this because i really feel some places in my city don't have any shade and we need it.. it's getting really hot around here. I have never seen it, but do grown trees ever get pulled out and planted in other places?

Yes, but it is very costly and labor intensive. A large ball is made around the roots.

Yes, they are and they can and do live but they are very costly to do and depending on size, could be too big but not normally. Need to check with someone that does it to see if they are too big but keep trying as there are some that do really big ones that some will say is not possible. The bigger they are the more costly they are to move and the bigger spade they need.

Yes, golf course developers do it all the time because they want mature, healthy trees. But it's very expensive to do because it takes specialized equipment.
