If you are sincere and asked for forgiveness, God will forgive you....yes, take it with a clean spirit and heart. That's what it is for.

sweetheart, God forgives you by Him, not the church....beware of false doctrines that say foregiveness is "channeled' through the church.......God forgives....the church doesn't.
