I live in Florida but it depends on what part you're planning on visiting. I would recommend Miami or the Keys (especially Key West). If you're in Miami visit the Everglades and obviously go to the beach and I believe the Museum of Science just opened a Titanic exhibit that is suppose to be quite good. The Keys is also a great tourist place, there's a lot of shops there and it's quite nice (even though everything is a little expensive).

The Keys, or maybe Disney World if there are small children involved.
