Isn't it evident that the middle class is getting sleazier and sleazier. I see young guys in filthy baggy pants hanging down their hips. Whereas, adult men are walking around in dirty shabby looking cotton gym pants.

Young girls wearing tight jeans and showing their measurement for the world to see. Fat women are wearing tight pants with no cover on their booties. I hate to see out of shape, enormous booties walking in front of me. I almost throw up. Cant they wear something more modest and not to advertise their elephant size hips? I wouldn't be proud of it.

What happened to good old days when mommy and papa were dressed up in suit and dresses, and little 8-year old Albert wearing a suit and tie for a tomato shopping down the street? lol

Who are you the moral police? Yes, North America in general is lazy & out of shape, eating very, very poorly and exercising very badly. Yes, parents aren't teaching children to be modest (especially girls) and the media tries to grab hold of kids as young as they can. But who are you to judge people by what they wear? How do you know their personal story of why they are wearing those clothes - maybe it's all they have? Maybe they have a hormone balance problem, and therefore can't lose weight because they can't afford the drugs because your country hikes up the prices? Get a grip on reality and stop thinking that you know everything about everyone, because you saw them for a moment on the street. Try helping people out, maybe that will do both of you some good.

America is getting lazier and lazier in their dressing. I am so sick of the low slung pants, but then again I guess I don't find gang and prison (no belts aloud in prison) culture appealing. WOmen live in pants. Fat woman in stretch pants, yuck!

I get stared at all the time because I wear skirts. I hate athletic wear and I hate to see a little girl in sports garb. I have seen people come to breakfast when I stay at a hotel and they have their swimsuits on with their butts hanging out.

People have traded in dressing well for comfort. People managed to be comfortable in the past and still dressed up

Lack of appropriate attire demonstrates the "dumbing down" of our culture. Now we are afraid to dress well as it might offend someone else. Let's all look like bums! Then we can all be happy! See how fast we are going downhill?

Put on a nice shirt, tie, slacks, or a skirt. You will be more successful for it!

Where does this general tide of sleaze originate from?

It's a defeatest attitude that you can't make it anymore, so why bother dressing up?

Add to this a system where capitalism works too good, and you have a motley mix of over indulgent individuals with no common sense or consciousness.

Does anybody bother to look anymore?

What exactly will have to happen to change this tide of negligence?

Beats me.

What can I tell you? America has been in decline since the 60s. The last good fashion statement I saw was bell-bottomed hip huggers and the no bra look. Now what do you see? All this gothic crap! Scares the crap out of me! But then that's just my opinion.

Yes, you can't say that it's turning into a sleazy culture it already is a sleazy culture, all you have to do is look at the way America treats other communities, and look at the songs, the movies, people, the video clips, it all says hey look we are b**ches.

Yes.........I blame U.S. media for a lot.......
Gun problems.....which your news show's glorify
Crime problems........same as above
cRAP video's that show half-naked women shaking their booty which is no big deal, except for the fact that most of today's youth watch them and for some reason want to look like them..........

It amazes me how people dress now adays.........
I have no problem with people wanting to express themselves, but dress with a little class.....
Oh well,what can u do........
