If you are getting off at the North Philadelphia Amtrak station at 2900 N. Broad, you can get on the Broad Street Line (the Orange Line-the station is underground), which will take you right to Citizens Bank. I think that Amtrak Station is about a 5 minute walk to the closet SEPTA Broad Street Line stop, which is the "North Philadelphia" stop. Walk south on Broad Street about 5 minutes and you will see signs for the Broad Street Line (it will be orange) with stairs leading underground. You will want to take the Broad Street Line all the way to the final stop, Pattison Ave. If it is near gametime, just follow the crowd. Otherwise there is a sign that says Citizens Bank Park and you can go up those stairs and start walking to the stadiums. You can't miss it.

A word of advice: your train stop is not the best of neighborhoods. Broad Street is not too bad, but if you wander off it, you can find yourself in some seedy areas. I would not reccommend taking the subway home from the game, especially if it is a 7:05 game. Maybe get a cab. About a mile to the east is where people go to buy their heroin in an area called the "Badlands". You don't want to get lost and wind up there.

A better bet would be to take Amtrak to 30th Street Station, where you could take the Market-Frankford El to the Broad Street Line, as Nezhy says. The transfer is free. So try to avoid the North Philly stop if possible, and get off at 30th Street.

From North Phila. station walk south on Broad St. 2 blocks to Lehigh Ave Subway stop. The Southbound Broad St. Subway (Orange line) cost $2 will take you directly to the Stadium at Pattision Ave. station. The route "C" bus also travels down Broad St. and is a option for the same price.

As most have mentioned the Main Amtrak station is At 30th Street station. Cabs are available as are buses and the subway to make a connection at City Hall for the Broad street line. A Transist map can be found at the Septa web site.

30th Street Station is where you'll get off Amtrak. Look for Septa Subway signs.. Take the "Market-Frankford" (Blue line) east to 15th Street (City Hall).

Get off the train. Look for signs for Broad Street Line (Orange). Go southbound to the last stop (Pattison). Walk to street level, can't miss the stadium.

The transfer from Blue to Orange is free. Getting on in the 1st place is one token ($1.30)

I have not experienced it but I know several people who have. My dear friend in Hawaii lost her husband 15 years ago or so. He was only in his 40's and died in bed, their 15 year old son found him. She was alone for years, just took care of her 3 kids and her aging father. About 5 years ago she feel in love again and has remarried A slightly older man, they live in Hawaii and are really happy. My mother remarried after my parents divorced. My step-father was 12 years my mother's jr. but they were made for each other. They were very happy until his untimely death at age 43. As I write, I am a bit off, my one and only niece just lost her husband early this week. They have a 7 year old daughter, funeral is on Friday in Calif. I hope she finds another love in her life, she has lost too many people in her 43 years of life. My sister was 43 when she passed living my then 21 year old niece without a mother to share her joys and sorrows with. Seems like the age 43 is a bit unlucky in my family. If you give love a change to find you, it can happen more then once in a lifetime.

By cab, it is about $12-13 dollars. The other option, by el and subway is also good.
