Cash in the Attic however I think that sometimes the reasons
for auctioning off family heirlooms sucks. One girl auctioned off
her parents(they're dead) possessions so that she could buy a
diamond and emerald ring to remember her parents by.

I like Antiques Road Show better. I love it when someone is truly surprised by the value of their item. I like the auction segments on Cash in the Attic, but overall I prefer ARS.

Antiques Road Show. I like that you get to see more variety of things appraised. They also give more history of the items and show some of the local history of the area where the show is being taped...facinating.
