Well each is completely different. Xanga is just a blogging site. Myspace provides you the ability to message, Im, post bulletin boards, have a profile that is personalized, have music videos, as many pics as wanted, and music on yours for free. They also allow for blogging. I personally have left my xanga account to the dust because Myspace provides a lot more.

Xanga is basically ONLY a blog while MySpace is a good frineds hookup place with over 1 million people on it and a side blog tool =)
So, most people prefer MySpace strictly for the community/community size.
