I want to make a movie where people are transported like in star trek; how can I go about this?

I would also like to make phaser beams, how do I do this?

To do a beam effect you need to shoot scenes twice, the less movement in the scene at the time of the transport, the better. Then when you are editing, you need to do what's called an A-B roll where you fade from the scene with the "actors" that were "beaming out" to the same take with them gone. Then use an digitial editor program to "edit in" whatever "sparkly" visual effects and sounds you'd think were appropriate.

Phaser shots are a little more tricky in that you will have to do a frame by fame digital edit to "draw in" the blast. The good news is one bright color moving fast will look pretty good.

It's time consuming, but no professional looking special effect is ever super easy to make.

Good Luck.

they are the two stunning of their very own way. its plausible to love the two the two. even nonetheless heres the place they variety. for my section, megastar trek has an more suitable hazard of being remembered 500 years from now while or if humanity ever rather do commence construction extensive starships for exploring the galaxy. maximum trek followers are united and enjoy ALL trek television sequence, video clips, characters, novels and video games. they like each little thing with regards to TREK fairly. on the different hand megastar wars followers followers frequently argue approximately merely approximately each little thing! which contain whos greater useful jedi or sith? insurrection or empire? who shot first? han or greedo?lol its adequate to make your head spin. plus it kind of feels that hardcore or older followers of the unique trilogy HATED the greater recent trilogy with a keenness! they concept george lucas "bought out" the sequence to cater to the greater youthful crowd and this rather disillusioned them. so which you get carry of one team of offended followers who hate lucas and new megastar wars stuff and we've been given youthful followers questioning the clone wars lively sequence is robust and that they dont mixture. for some human beings megastar wars will consistently be approximately luke skywalker and the rebels against darth vader and the empire. while those human beings commence getting older and scarcity of existence then megastar wars' acceptance will probally commence dying with them. DONT forget approximately approximately BABYLON 5!!!

I seem to recall that they made the "transport" effect by filming glitter swirling in a glass of water.

use mirrror reflection, capturing rays from sun or direct lighting, then superimpose the figure or person on a delay. you ought to play around with that idea. i know nothing about this, but that seems like may/could work for you.
