No, I don't think Gone With The Wind should be remade. It's a classic, and it should stay that way. Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler are the 2 main characters in the movie, and Vivian Leigh and Clark Gable are the only ones to fill those shoes. Even with all the actors and actresses today, none are 'great' enough to play those parts.

No everything doesnt need to be remade what would be the point I think OSelznick did an outstanding job and it has gone down in history as an all time favorite To have been made in the 1930s its still of high quality The only thing about is the depiction of African Americans But no do not remake it

Usually people who have seen the original say "No" but then people who have never seen the originals until after they've seen the newer version like the newer one better.
It's the same way with songs. It seems like people like what they see or hear and get used to first. So I think that it would be a good idea to remake a lot of the classic movies because they're great movies and people aren't going to see them if they haven't already seen them when they were popular.

Definitely NOT. Almost all of the remakes really suck. Certain movies are classics because they're great in the first place. For that reason, it's less likely that the remake will be any better.
It's better to remake mediocre movies.

I am so sick and tired of the "play it save" formula that Hollywood's been using by remaking everything. Just hearing about Steve Martin attempting to fill Peter Sellers shoes in the "Pink Panther" remake made me want to projectile vomit!!
Stop it with the remakes already!!...Thank you, I feel much better now.

They can be remade, but I don't think the new ones will compare to the old ones (ex. Bewitched, Willy Wonka).

No that movie was based on the era of the depression and many who played in it lived through that I do not feel that in our we can duplicate the acting no matter how good the actors are
