Rap is infantile noise. Comparing rap to real music is akin to comparing Cheshire hogs to runway super models. Music is for the enjoyment of sound. If we wanted a story, we'd read a book.

Adults never like their children's music. The waltz used to be considered an obscene dance, rock and roll would be the ruin of youth, rap is loud, dirty and societally offensive. Wait until you're an adult. Whatever your kids listen to will horrify you. That's the way the world works.

Only because I prefer to listen other things.
I don't think it's wrong to like (or love) rap. More power to you. Just as you have your preference for rap, I have a preference for rock. Or someone else may have a preference for classical, or country, or whatever.
It's all based on personal taste

First of all you have to understand that Rap is NOT music, its just people who doenst have the talent needed to create real music.

I don't like the filthy lyrics, Ive listened to some Christian rap and its OK, but not great. T Bone is good.

I don't like rap (it's sh-t your ears can smell) but I do like mines; we get gold, silver, iron, aluminum, copper and quite a few other raw materials out of them. What isn't grown has to be mined.

I hate it, but I really have tried to listen to it. I can only get about one minute into it when I MUST kill someone, I turn it off. I don't want to go to jail!
