You will still have to pay the child support per the divorce agreement no matter what.

Congrats!

Check with your attorney but I would think that just because you daughter has a child that does not negate any child support ordered by the court. What does your child support settlement say about the duration of having to pay - does it specify an age or is it based on her being enrolled full time in college?
Good Luck

Read your divorce decree, but usually Missouri does not specify that a dependent over 18 has to be in school, it usaully has a final age listed as emancipation. However, if she is no longer residing with your ex full time, you can always go back to court and have it lifted.

For the little smat @ss who mention that you didn't stick around in the previous answer - It's not always the man's choice, sometimes its the woman who doesn't stick around. Stop making assumptions!

check with a lawyer but yes i'd say you are still obligated to pay, you give the money to your wife to assist in the care of your child since you didn't bother to stick around and do it in person.
