im looking to buy a lift kit for my truck but am having a hard time finding one so large. i have a 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500HD and need a company that would make on for it. money is no real problem but wouldnt like to spend an extreme amount of money. 12" is what im looking for but anything for 10" and up would be great.

12" no problem AAA spring in Arizona can build any spring you need for the rear. as far as the front goes i recommend a solid Axel conversion ORU specializes in that then you could get your front springs from AAA spring as well. however you can keep your ifs and get 12 inches but i wouldn't recommend it if you really want to get wild in the mud. sounds crazy? I've built a couple trucks from scratch a 12 inch lift , 15 inch lift , 27 inch lift , and I'm working on a 36 inch lift. the last one is a dare don't know if every thing is gonna line up yet. But i say if ya really want it build it.

I would say a 12 inch lift is probably illegal.. are you driving this on a public road? Any lift kit is techincally illegal (at least in my state) but there is an acceptable margin you can get away with.. 12 would be out of the question me thinks..

You could combine a supsension lift and a body lift and you might get your 12 inches if you cant find one or the other...

Try Gary's Sport Truck in Corona, Calif, or FS Motorsports in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. Good Luck! Have fun

I cant remember if your body style is IFS or straight-axle in the front, but if its IFS, then it may be easier to convert to a true straight-axle setup, and then use a tall leaf spring setup. My buddy is doing that to his 96 silverado, and he's going for 15" total lift. Hope this helps.

IS THAT EVEN LEGAL??? IN MY STATE YOU CAN ONLY HAVE SEVEN TOTAL INCHES OF LIFT. 3 OF BODY 4 OF SUSPENSION. THEN COMES TIRES THEY CAN ONLY STICK 2 INCHES OUTSIDE THE BODY LINE. I WOULD CHECK WITH LOCAL 4X4 SHOP BEFORE LIFTING.
