Depends on your condition right now and your dedication

That will depend on where you are with regard to your bodyfat. Obviously, if you are 50 pounds overweight it will take you a while.

Most bodybuilders who train to get ripped for competition can be anywhere between 10-50 lbs. over "ripped" contest weight. Generally it takes them on average 12 weeks of very dedicated training and nutrition. Those that are in the 50 lb range generally lift 5 days a week for 1-1-1/2 hours a day and do cardio daily. Some even do two cardio if necessary.

Also, diet is very important, if not everything. You have to eat very carefully and often. Eat 5 meals or more a day of high protein low fat food with enough carbs to give you the energy you need to work out. Rule of thumb is 1g of protein/lb. body weight and 2g. carbs/lb. bodyweight. Limit your fat intake to 20% or less of your daily calories.

If you want more info, muscle n fitness is a good magazine for tips on nutrition and exercise. There are also lots of great websites.

Goodluck. It requires a lot of work.

honestly..it wouldnt take you but a few months to get ripped. You're already skinny so all you have to do is get cut..and thats not hard. but if you mean actually getting bigger and more muscular that could take you 9 months to a year depending on your goal

well, you should start eating tons of protein calories, and doing a decent workout, shouldnt take you more than a month, if you are under 25 anyway. maybe two months if you are older.

Depends largely on just how fat you are on day one
