It may not touch down at all. Tornadoes are unpredictable as to when they touch down, the direction they will go and how long they will last!!

I would concentrate on getting the heck into the basement before worrying about when it will touch down. :)

No one realy knows the answer. Sometimes they dont touchdown at all. That's why the research is so important.
