♡I think you may have to initiate the process from your American bank. You can do an on line transfer or request the transfer through your bank directly. FIRST- Ask UFJ is they accept 'bank transfers' in DOLLAR amounts or if the money has to be exchanged into YEN before transferring. (I have a DOLLAR account at Mizuho bank, so I can do this easily in dollars, I don't like losing money exchanging along with the transfer fee.) You'll need the bank location/branch, address, your account number and all valid info for the transaction. There's usually a transfer fee involved. If you have an ATM/Debit/Cash card from your US bank with the 'CIRRUS' logo, http://www.campustravel.com/pics/cirrus.jpg
you can get the money from your US account easily from some Japanese cash machines with the CIRRUS Logo. Your daily withdrawal amount limit will determine how much you may take out in a 24 hour period.
Here is the UFJ English site, although it's not helpful at all. (In my opinion!)

Make sure you have your UFJ account number, the location of the bank and it's phone number. Go to your American bank and I think this should be enough info.
