So you like fantasy? O.K. If you like long books read Lord of the Rings, but instead of reading it by yourself get an audio and fallow along, it helped a lot.
And if you want sorter, but still long books try Narnia or The Last Unicorn...I cried durring those and their just books. Strange.
Of all of those, I would most deffinately try The Last Unicorn. It's a sweet story of how a Unicorn learned Regret and Sorrow. Try it. They're all good though.

"Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. It will be the most unforgettable book you ever read (except the bible maybe). You will find it in the self-improvement section of any bookstore. Buy the larger size edition if you can, as it has a summary at the end of each chapter that will put things together for you. If this book were taught in high schools, this country would truly be a super power from now on. Getting rich doesn't just mean making a lot of money. You'll see why when you read the book. There is a great secret contained in the book. You might find it on the first few pages, or somewhere else, even toward the end chapters. That secret will be most important to you. As you read it, highlight the most important sentences in yellow. Then ask your spouse, boyfriend, significant other, to read it and highlight the parts that are significant to him/her in blue. The result will be green, of course, and will be your signal that you are thinking along the same lines in those areas. It can be your "bible" together for the rest of your life. Enjoy!

The title is THE BLACKGLOOM BOUNTY. It's 445 pages of action, adventure, magic, mystery and mayhem. If you like Conan, LOTR or Harry Potter type books, this may be one you'll enjoy.

The Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud
...I'm currently on book two, and am enjoying it greatly (I too have similar tastes as yours)
...I just wanted to add that this series of books has actually been compared to the Harry Potter books... and many that like those, like this series as well...

Anything by Tamora Pierce is excellent. If you haven't finished the rest of her books you should. I would also recommend anything by Sarah Dessn, although her works are more fiction than fantasy, they are really good. Firebirds anthlogy is also really good for fantasy and fiction. Have fun reading.
