Kissing has nothing to do with that. Check if they look anormal in any way. If you have a blister in the inside of your lip, it may be the food that you eating. You may also consider other factors like if you are using lipstick that may be producing an allergy reaction.
In any case consult a doctor is the wiser advise if it don't go away after a couple of days.

Will you bring me my Chapstick? But my lips hurt real bad! Sorry, I could not resist throwing in a Napoleon Dynamite joke. Seriously, they are probably just irritated...as difficult as it is, lay off the kissing for a couple of days. Have you eaten a lot of salt? Too much salt always makes your lips hurt and feel all icky. The Blistex you're using could be irritating your lips...try another lip product. Hope they feel better.

I would suggest not using the Blistex anymore...if your lips are extremely sore Blistex can be too harsh.
2 things to try..1st is A&D ointment applied on your lips then alternate with Vaseline Lip Therapy.
In a couple of days your lips should be fine.
Good Luck :)

Well, if you think that there is truth in your step-sister's idea, then I would suggest that firstly, you stop kissing your boyfriend so much. A relationship isn't just about the physical, so instead, you can try talking with him or going to different places, perhaps bike riding.
It could also be that you might have an infection or something, and for that, you would have to ask your doctor.

Theres any number of reasons why they hurt. to give a proper diagnosis we'd need more information such as how long they've been hurting, what kind of pain, on both lips, internal or external, any changed lately that would cause this.... It could be anything from kissing to an allergic reaction.

drink plenty of water, don't bother them and there is the possibility, not very likely, but you may have developed an allergy for blistex, so applying more and more just makes it worst, consult a physician.

Your lips are probably bruised from heavy kissing. Since they are red already, the bruising will not be obvious. Treat them like you would any bruised body part, ice will help with pain and swelling and refrain from heavy kissing till they heal.
