Do you think that,over the last century, if U.S. didn't cause military coups in south america, or sold guns to both Iran, and Irak during their war, or didn't finance Bin Laden aganist Soviet Russia, or didn't go to Vietnam, or established many many military bases and didn't provoke nationalism,fundementalism and dictatorships in middle-east /all against "communism" /, acted more like switzerland i say, U.S.A would be a far better place, at least without 500 billion$ dept? /al least surely had İts World Trade Center.....well maybe would be a little short on oil, but we'll never know...right?(may be they would have some extra time to develop alternative sources to make this world a better place for tomorrow)

It's a fine line to walk. The US is the world's last and only superpower, so the rest of the world sees us as a catalyst for a lot of things. Due to that power, we also have a big responsibility in making sure the world is safe. While it is true that the US has oftentimes meddled when it shouldn't have, what would've happened if we would've minded our own business when Hitler was slaughtering Jews left and right. What if we were to (and even now) mind our own business and ignore the plight of AIDS and poverty in Africa? The US has power, influence and financial resources that most other countries combined, don't have, and because of that, we have an obligation to sometimes intercede and become involved in certain global problems. I guess we're damned if we do, damned if we don't.

OK say we did. As men made a government in a far off land pulled their home land out of a terrible economic problems all as they built a army but they told us that is was just to keep the peace. This place then took over one of it`s near by countries. OK we would say. Then the next small county fell. All the time we hear or people in the now waring state have new homes we have made for some of our people are better than they had.
We wake one day and find this county has taken over our old friends find out they are killing their own people just because they were different. It was call Nazi Germany and Yeas we did keep our heads out of it.
We did this many times. What we got was WW1 so we tried it again and we got WW2, But hey one more time we got Korean
