I don't care if its the main character who is a newly wed pregnant woman with twins on the way, if she dies I get all like YEAH THAT WAS AWESOME...cuz its a movie...but whenever a dog dies I'm like...aw man, come on kill a person.

I agree with you. I cry when the T-Rex kills the raptors in the end of Jurassic Park, ok? Even if the animals are evil, it breaks my heart when they die. I do it for humans in movies too though, unless they deserved it. And "Dances with Wolves" such a sad movie all around, but when the wolf gets shot, I especially lose it.

Yeah I'm the same way, but I get sad if I child dies too. Who cares about the Teenagers or the Adults. I can't watch pet semetary for that reason.

So growing up made me identify more with people than animals. Okay, people and extraterrestrials.

I hate seeing animals sick or close to death in movies and real life. I loved Lord of the rings but hated the scenes where the horses were falling even though most of it was computer animated. I even used to hate it when Pikachu was in trouble or weak on Pokemon! Tears always come faster for animals. I suppose it's the big eyes and you know they can't do anything to help themselves.
