No I didn't, if you have it put I link so I can watch it, but I highly doubt it that 's why he got the red card!! Rooney's just got a bad temper and made the wrong decision by hurting the player..I think you'd be in pain too if Rooney did that to you..I am pretty sure you'd like the ref to give Rooney a red card then!

Well having had his shirt pulled within inches of the referee then the next second finding the shirt puller under me I'd have stamped on the git with both feet then decked the ref. Rooney however stepped on him, deliberate or not only he knows no matter how many angles you look at the footage from.

Winding Wayne Rooney up does not warrant a red card.
Pressing your head against Wayne Rooney's head does not warrant a red card.
Moaning at the ref does not warrant a red card.
Winking at the bench does not warrant a red card.
BUT...
Stamping on an opponent's nether region DOES!!

no i didn't see this but Ronaldo should know that if u wind Rooney up he tends to score but in this case he was that angry that he got him self sent off over a stupid spilt second decision that he made. i didn't want ronaldo to leave man u but his life's not gonna be worth living when he gets back to England so maybe it is better if he goes to Spain and plays football after all!

Of course - how utterly annoying and tasteless! That sort of behaviour just pales in comparison to mule kicking someone else in the nuts.
Kicking someone i nthe nuts is so much more mentally straining, requiring large wit and intellect.
What's the saying I learnt as a child? Something about sticks and stones ...

i cant believe wot ronaldo done to rooney. i think he was well out of order n think it was because of him that the ref sent off rooney. the ref was up portugals backside anyway.

Stop the tea and sympathy for Rooney; he was red-carded for stepping on Carvalho groin, not pushing Ronaldo. So who or what wound him up to do that???????????

looking at his face at the moment of impact it looked to me as though he never meant it, however looking at the foot on the nads it looked as if it was pushed down with intent its a strange one but i dont know if rooney staying on would have changed the game it looked destined to go to penalties plus its a quarter final and you go out with one up front?! these are the games that you should be going for it which brings us to the issue with the strikers, what a mistake.
