My son just did that last weekend except he went into the lake. We took it to the dealer that we bought it from and it is still under warranty so they sent it in to get it fixed and gave him a girly loaner phone to use in the meantime.

Honestly you should just get a knew one..it has happened to me twice..as sad as that sounds lol...the first time it happened i dired it out and to my suprise it worked...for 5 minutes.....and when it would stay on it never worked properly second time..i guess it hit the water for too long..i did the same thing dried and so forth..it would come on periodically adn then freeze...so best of luck but get a new phone or see if you can bring it to some type of phone store and get it fixed..best of luck!

first never ever turn the phone on when you it is wet. if that happens completely open the hadset exposing everything especially the pcb board. never dry it out under the sun. wipe it immdiately with tp or cotton or a blower or hair dryer. do this once you realized your stupidity to throw yourself into the pool just to be close to jessica alba. now if you noticed rust has acumulated in the board last resort would be at a nearest repair shop.

The only thing you can do it let it dry out...if you put it near a fan and leave it alone for a day it very well might start working again. Don't give up...I've saved a phone or 2 :) :)

let it dry out, if you can set it next to a heater or something, not to close though, it will work again
