I don't think that its "scared" persay, but if you are aggressive then you tend to show more of your personality and if you are shy its really hard for someone to get a glimpse of your personality until you get to know one another, but in that sense its really hard to get to know people when you are shy. I use to be shy, but then I figured out, who the hell cares. If people don't like me for who I am then that is their loss.

Well I think they are scared because since the girl is really shy they wouldn't have much to say,I don't really know,lol

Ok take it from a guy who knows about this. ;) Guys just get nervous about asking ANY girl out. Ever seen the movie Hitch? He's right. We just like to have a plan and when it backfires we lose it. We're afraid to just come up to a girl we like and say, "I like you."

im not scared at all...she is shy...so i cant really understand what she wants me to do...so i dont ask her..cause i dont like to be rejected

because they dont know what to expect. they dont know if she will be weird or if she will be cool. they dont know what others will think if they talk to her. pretty and shy girls are very mysterous and they are sometimes lazy to want to uncover the mystery.
