Here is my beef with Cingular. I live in the Texas panhandle. We signed up with Cingular because it was the only company that could get service in our rual area. That was two years ago, now they are sending out letters to the people in this area that they are shutting off the service here because we were using different companies tower and it is costing them too much for us to use them. Here is my problem, know that they are going to shut off in this area you would like they would not be selling anymore serivce to people in this area right? Wrong. I have a friend who didin't know about their plan to end all service in our area and went and signed up with them. He was soo out raged by this. I don't blame him at all. They should not be selling people their service if they do not plan to hold out on their end of the contract. We get changed with $150 if we decided to get out of our contract but they do not have to. It is completely outragous. And what makes this worse, is all of these bull-crap commericals that are everywhere. If i were you I would go with Alltell. That is what we have to switch to now. Cingular can keep all of their bull-crap to themselves.

No, it's not. I had service with them before, lot of drop call and no signal. I switched to Verizon. It was good the first few months, I'm stuck for 2 years.

actually is highly depending on your area, some area they are pretty good some they don't. Therefore, it is hard to say, but if you are talking nationwide, i don't think so.
