The marble joke goes... Ask me how do become abull rider? How do you become a bull rider? You take a handful of marbles and you put em in your mouth you go out to Gilleys and you ride that bull and everytime you ride that bull you spit out one of those mables, and when you've lost all your marbles thats when your a bullrider!!! I know I'am a dork to know that, But I love That Movie!! And it's a good Drinking movie too!!

Absolutely! This was one of my all-time favorite movies, in a virtual tie with Saturday Night Fever as Travolta's best ever. The storyline went much deeper than just some 80s-style "cowboys" (and cowgirls!) riding a mechanical bull, and a great soundtrack (at least, as far as country-rock goes). The story, I believe, touched a universal nerve. Two people who love each other very much, yet come dangerously close to losing each other forever because of some very stupid misunderstanding and a lack of communication. Happens all the time! But "Bud" & "Sissy" DO find their way back to one another in the end, and no matter HOW many times I see this movie over & over & over again, I always cry happy tears for them when they reunite. I have always wished for a sequel to this movie; but then, I don't see how they could have possibly topped it. After all, "Staying Alive" was SUCH a let-down after the classic original. I do, however, wish Travolta & Winger would STILL do another movie together; they had such CHEMISTRY! (Is Debra Winger retired now or something? She was GREAT!)

Yes, I love that movie! It's got an awesome soundtrack, and I think it captures the country scene of the early 80s quite well. Great story too. I just watched it yesterday, as a matter of fact.
