Though I believe they will be in the playoffs come October, I am not gonna predict they will win the AL Central. The White Sox (and I do hate the team from the south side of Chicago) have been keeping pace with them throughout the season, and Detriot still needs to prove they can beat them (they are currently 1-5 against the Sox). Lets just see what the second half holds, and, not ignore the fact that the Twins have been hot, so the Tigers had better not take the Wild Card position as a given if Chicago wins the AL Central.

The tigers might make the playoffs before winning the division cuz as hot as they've been all season the white sox have been right on their tails.

They will make the playoffs but won't win the division. The Sox will take it because they've been there before, the Tigers haven't.

My brother thinks September 20th in "The Cell" (he wants to return the favor....the White Sox clinched the division at Comerica last year).....
I think September 27th.
At the very least I am beginning to think The Tigers could very well win the wild card.
