At times I seem to have the same feeling. I get dragged out by answering questions. Answer: Take a brake for awhile and then come back. Being tired makes your I.Q. go down. You can't concentrate and you just get burnt out on the research. Give it a brake. You're helping others, but the biggest reward it satisfys is knowing that you gave the most accurate answer you could give. You're actually proving and learning at the same time. I've learned a lot. I learned if you make a mistake someone will let you know about it.

Of course. But only because "Intelligence Quotient" is an artificial and useless concept. When Socrates went to Delphi and the Oracle told him he was wise, he didn't believe it. He knew he was ignorant. However, after discovering everyone else was even more ignorant, he ultimately aceded to the oracle on the basis that at least he knew how little he knew. So by hanging around here, and getting dumber, you are getting closer to Socratic Wisdom.

then why do you come here?
or may be that feeling you call dull is called knowledge and understanding. but i agree, some people to give pathetic answers and claim its the truth, where as its an opinion. yahoo is more of peoples opinions towards things rather than facts. if you want facts try an encyclopedia. wikipedia is a good one, its free too.
