I'm not sure how common that is, but i think that other people are misinterpreting your question... or maybe i am. most babies are born head first, face down, some are born face up and some face out, meaning that whoever is delivering the baby would be looking at either the top of the head or the face. i think you are asking how common is it that the person delivering the baby would be looking at the babies face?

almost all of the time babies are born head first. in this day of modern medicine few babies are actually born feet first. most breech babies are born by c-section. few are born vaginally.
