I don't agree with your logic...when someone says they are American, it has nothing to do with skin tone, it's where you were born.
Just like a black person born in England is English and an Asian person born in Germany is German.
Open your mind a bit girl and life could get a whole lot easier and clearer for you.

Are you stupid? If you are born in Africa, no matter what the color of your skin is, you are African. Were you born in America? That makes you an American. Just because you are black doesn't make you african. But if you really think that it does make an African because you are black, maybe you should go to Africa and live there. You are giving intelligent black people a bad name by being so stupid.

My friend is Afrikaner. She was born in South Africa and is white. She considers herself to be African because she was born there. There is a difference between race and culture. You do not have to be black to be African. By the way, not all people with black skin are from Africa. The Aborigines of Australia are perhaps the oldest black skinned race in the world. There are also black cultures in the Indies and Tropics that are remnants of the slave trade.

If he is born in Africa and someone ask where he is from he says, I am African. What else would he say? Are you saying only people with black skin can say they are African? How about the centuries of Caucasians that were born and lived their lives in South Africa? You are being a little prejudiced aren't you? I know people from around the world and for the most part could never guess where they are from. A example is my cousin, he has a Italian mother and a black/german father, you know where is from? Brazil! He lives in the usa by the way.

So if someone is black they're african even if they've never been there once in their life? They African because they were born in Africa, what's not to understand? And many black people are born in Europe so they would be European. Your nationality is based on where you were born and it's always been that way.

I agree what you think. But then again if a white person is born in africa they are white but not black but they are called Africans because they are born in africa. Like the example you had. If a black person was born in Europe they would still be considered black but also european. ( Does this have to do with Angelina Jole's baby being born in africa????)

if someone is born in africa, they are african you dont have to be black to be african. If i got you right then what your trying to say is white people who are african think that they are black which is not at all true. There are black europeans like the french but they are not white they are black. And it is true that white people from africa say they are black because these days some white people will do anything to be some color other than white.

so you tell me what is a white person called that is born in South Africa
if he cannot be called a south African.his passport calls him a South African
Africa has hundreds of races ,Indian,XChinese,Arab,Dutch.German.English ,French.and many hundreds of black races that are very distinct, like pygmys of Massai.Zulu.Matabele.Leshoto,Nigeria etc etc etc,
they all can be born on the African continent and have the nationality of the country where they were born
is a Bush man an african
his race is older than many black races ,but he is pale yellow and slender and small
or if a black person is born in England .is he not Brittish??his passport says he is
you are mixin the words for a race with the words for countries
so a black person born in America is an American and he is black
a white person born in America is a caucasian American
both have American passports

When anyone (regardless of what the color of their skin is) is born in a certain region, that IS what they are. And by "are" I mean how they want to convey their origin. If you were born in Africa, you have every right to claim that you are African even if you are white. It's about Nationality. I could be Chinese and say I am African if I was born in Africa.

This is where the race card will get played alot.
If you are born in Canada you are a Canadian
If you are born in Africa you are an African
If you are born in Europe you are a European
All "african americans" [black people - if you prefer] aren't from nor did descend from Africa.
And I consider it racist to believe that.
Thats like saying all people with red hair came from Ireland.

Yes you are a racist. You are an African if you are born in Africa. You are a European if you are born in Europe, and your an American if your are born America. To say that they can't be African just because they are white is very racist and just because your black doesn't mean that you can't be racist. Have a reality check.
